Nuts are a great source of nutrients and healthy fats. Incorporating mixed nuts into your diet is a delicious way to fuel your body and make sure you are getting all the good stuff. But aside from just snacking on nuts, how else can you add them to your meals?

One way to add nuts to your diet is to include them in salads. Salads are a great healthy option for lunch and dinner and you can put almost anything in them. Sprinkling a few nuts on top or chopping them to toss through a salad is a great, tasty way to get some extra goodness.

They can also be added to dressings or any kind of sauce for that matter. Blending cashews into sauces can make them rich and creamy, peanut butter is a tasty addition to salad dressings and you could even add hazelnuts to chocolate dessert toppings for a decadent treat.

Why not add nuts into dessert as well? Almonds are a delicious and healthy snack that can be added to a whole array of dessert foods.

Flaked, ground or whole, they are sure to taste amazing while also being good for you! You can even use almonds as a substitute for flour which makes them great for gluten-free diets.

Nut milks are a good way to get all the health benefits without actively adding nuts to your food. Many milk substitutes made from nuts taste just as good if not better than dairy milk and can be used in everything from tea and cereal to baked goods.

Lots of recipes call for nuts to be added. Various curries from around the world call for whole nuts to be added, which gives a delicious crunch and rich flavour to the food while also giving your body much-needed vitamins and nutrients.
